Prof Alexandros Karagrigoriou obtained his BSc degree from the Department of Mathematics, University of Patras, Greece and his MA, PhD from the University of Maryland, USA. He is employed at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics of the University of Cyprus since 1992 and is working as an Associate Professor since 2002. He has worked at the University of Maryland, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the Institute of Statistical Sciences, Taiwan and taught at the Universities of Maryland, Athens, the Aegean, and Cyprus.
